Happy Birthday!
We can't believe you're 1! You had a great party. All of your friends came, and Grandma Beth was in town. You are such a big girl, and we have loved every minute of the last year. Here are pictures from your party and your visit with your grandma...
We took Grandma Beth to story time, and she loved watching you play around with the other kids and dance to the music.
For your birthday, we took you to the SF Zoo. The animals were a little far away for you to really appreciate them, but we could tell when you spotted them and were focusing in on what they were doing. Also, you've been giving the sweetest hugs! If you see me across the room, you will come running over. If I bend down, you give me the biggest hug and it is so sweet. I love this because you aren't the most cuddly person :) Hoping you'll get more lovey-dovey as you get older!

You liked the carousel...until it started moving and then you weren't too sure about it.
There's a petting zoo with goats and ducks and chickens running around. You were interested, but I don't think you wanted to be walking around with them!
Your aunts and uncles gave you this amazing wagon for your birthday. You LOVE it. Grandma Beth took you all over the neighborhood in it.
