First Beach Trip, 11 Months and You're Walking

Happy 11 months! This may be my favorite month. They've all been fun, but the months where "milestones" have occurred are definitely the most fun. You started taking steps a couple of months ago...around 9 months. But you would only walk if we asked you to and you had an end destination to grab/fall on to :) You've been pulling up on furniture and other things for a while, so you would turn around and walk if you were already standing. But as soon as you fell down, you'd resume crawling. After spending a week with your older cousins at the beach, you took off! And you love it. You've got a new confidence. We go to story time now, and you immediately leave me to walk around and smile at everyone. Everyone thinks you're super cute and super advanced to be walking at such an early age and to be so small.

Anyway, other things you're in to...

• Dancing. We realized at the beach that you dance a lot more than other babies. Any time you hear music, you start swaying back and forth. And if "Wheels on the Bus" comes on, you really buggy down.
• Stacking things and taking things in and out of boxes. I can get ready (mostly) in peace again because I can put you in our bathroom and open my cabinet. You keep yourself really busy pulling out my bags with headbands and necklaces. 
• My lip gloss bag. You LOVE pulling out all of the lip glosses and putting them back in. And chewing on them. Thanks :)
• Story times. You've always loved the songs and watching the other kids, but now that you are walking, you love it. You walk around the room looking at everyone and dancing.

You had so much fun at the beach. You loved the sand and the water. It was fun for us to watch you with your cousins, and y'all had so much fun playing together. I can't believe your birthday is in just a few weeks! We're having a small party - "You Are My Sunshine" is the theme. You love that song, and I thought it was an appropriate theme since you have summer birthday.
